Newborn Photography sessions are held in my comfortable, heated home studio; equipped with a wide variety of bespoke props, blankets and outfits allowing me to capture a variety of timeless images of those tiny details for you to choose from and treasure forever.
My newborn photography sessions are completely baby led and usually take place within the first few weeks of baby arriving; this allows me to pose your baby while still small in those sleepy, curled up positions.
Sessions can take anywhere from 2-4 hours so, for this reason I will only schedule one newborn photography session a day – this ensures enough time to get baby settled into a variety of poses and ensure a beautiful selection of portraits but also take into account feeding, nappy changes and of course lots of cuddles and snuggles.
If you prefer an all inclusive, shorter session I now offer Newborn Mini Sessions.

Frequently Asked questions
It is best to book in your newborn session before baby arrives to ensure I have availiability to fit you in. Anytime after your 20 week scan, but if your little one has arrived please get in touch & we may have some last minute availability. Only 5% of babies are born on their due date, therefore, I will provisionally pencil in your session and once your little one arrives we can secure a date & time that suits. I only book a maximum of 10 newborn sessions a month to allow plenty of flexibility for early & late arrivals.
We are completely baby led so I allow up to three hours for a newborn session. This allows for no rushing & plenty of time to get the baby fed, settled, changed & of course lots of cuddles. I do not book any other sessions when we have a newborn in the studio to allow for any extra time that may be required especially if we have a very unsettled baby, twins or siblings.
The comfort & safety of your newborn is my top priority, for this reason I have invested myself heavily in newborn training & only practice safe posing techniques. No poses are ever forced and if baby is not happy we will simply move on to the next pose.
This is absolutely fine & you can feed baby anytime during your newborn session. I have included a list of foods to avoid up to 48 hours before your session as the are known to cause fussiness & unsettle the baby: Spicy foods, Citrus fruits and Juices, Pineapple, Gassy Vegetables, Garlic, Peppers, Prunes and Excessive Caffeine.
I save for replacement purposes only & for a maximum of 12 months. Replacement digital galleries are £30 if lost.
Your final gallery of 15-25 images will be ready to view within 10 days of your session. This is where you can view and decide on which package you would like. Galleries are open for a maximum of 48 hours – after which a reopening fee of £20 will be charged if selections have not been made.
If you do not wish your images to be used on social media platforms or any of my portfolios or competition entries please let me know & I will of course oblige.
